  Very Dirty. The cups, plates and spoons looked liked they hadn't been cleaned. Service was also very slow, the staff looked like they just wanted to go home.

  A very pleasant little cafè that is a welcome break in your literary browsing/wandering around town. The staff were friendly, helpful and cheerful, the food is of a good standard as expected for a venue of this type, but the cakes looked a little unappealing - either a bit lacklustre or else extravagant, multi-tiered wonders, nowt in between. Toilets in a different floor which is a little inconvenient, but there is a lift nearby.

  I like this new cafe venture. It has a real independent feel about it. The coffee is very good and there is a sensible range of food on offer. The atmosphere is much more lively and friendly than in the old Costa franchise. People seem to be happier when they are there. I'll be going again.

  Lovely cafe, staff, food and coffee. Would have given it 5 stars but most tables not cleared and customers having to clear tables. Might be your busiest time on Saturday but there are basic standards.
