  Always happy with the products at Maplin. Sometimes the items are a little overpriced but I do understand how margins work in the modern technological society. However I was disappointed with my last few visits to this store where I find the staff situation more like a playground than a reputable firm. I actually needed some advice on my last visit and chose not to ask for it as they can't appear to focus on serving me at point of sale for 1-2 minutes without chatting to each other about non work related matters. As I walk in the shop 4 sales assistants in the shop floor engaged in their own conversations and no greetings to customers. Not good enough for me I'm afraid.
